Welcome to Maine Woods yarn & Fiber, your "Maine " source for spinning, knitting and felting supplies. We create original handspun, hand painted yarns, rovings, spindle kits, knitting kits, patterns, winder/swift and more.
All processing of our fine yarns, rovings and handcrafted supplies are done here in our studio. We spin all our yarns on an old Louet spinning wheel from the Netherlands.
We are passionate about spinning and creating beautiful color combinations and we love to share our creations with you. Our yarns and rovings have a soft handle and are a dream to knit, spin, felt or crochet with!
We have knitting patterns, drop spindles, sock, slipper, mitten and hat kits and other knitting related items. Winters are long in Maine but spinning yarn in front of a cozy fire passes the time pleasantly.
